The Rainbow
Makers
Where do
rainbows come from?
Listen and you
will see.
They come from
a land on the edge of time,
Near the
shores of the Unicorn Sea.
Here is where
the Rainbow Makers live,
Painting
rainbows in the air,
Painting with
enchanted brushes,
Gathering
colors from everywhere.
They send us
out their rainbows,
Wrapping them
in clouds,
Knowing that
the colors they use
Will please
the watching crowds.
They get Greens
from an Evergreen Forest,
And Yellows
from an African Lea,
Purples from
the Painted Desert,
And Blues from
the Deep Blue Sea,
Violets from
Kilimanjaro,
And Oranges
from the Barrier Reef,
Reds from the
Amazon Rain Forest.
These are the
colors they need.
